Caren studied graphic design at the famous Parson’s School of Design in New York and worked in the Big Apple for seven years. Since her return to South Africa, her clients have included Chicago-The Musical, Pavarotti, We Will Rock You among others. Gina, a fine artist with a Masters Degree in Fine Arts from Wits University is making her mark on the local art scene.
In 2003, born out of their love for fashion, Caren and Gina Waldman established TWO and started making underwear out of home.
Comfortable, yet sexy, sophisticated but still playful, trendy but yet classic, TWO has evolved into a must-have range that pushes conventional boundaries, subtly expressing individuality and confidence. Their new summer collection 2008/2009 is inspired by metamorphosis and transformation and includes catapillar, cocoon and butterfly styles and graphics. It includes lots of dresses, volume and flowing fabrics.
Two is involved in the craft project with the Department of Arts and Culture and Sanlam SA fashion week, where they are one of 9 designers chosen to represent the 9 provinces of South Africa.

wow, even more lovely dresses! But what I really like is the combination with the trousers, it's an every-day-outfit but at the same time something really special. I'm impressed!

I can really imagine that South Africa must be an incredibly inspiring country to live in as a designer. At least the designs of TWO clothing are suggestive of that - somehow it seems you they imported the whole history into their designs. Great job! Looking forward to the new collection!
